Default Best oil for Turbo LQ4?

Just wondering what oil (5-30, 10-30, 10-40) most are running in their turbo street cars? I have a bone stock bottom end LQ4 with a 76mm turbo, making about 600whp, and I live in Ohio. What would be the best oil to run? Currently Im running Mobil 1 5w30.

Thanks for your help,
Anthony

I have searched here, and its all over the place. I just want a general "if stock bottom end, use this" or "if built, use this". When it all comes down to it, I just want a good oil for use in a stock motor with a turbo on it.

I would go with the Valvoline VR-1. Its a great oil and proven on many boosted vehicles.

If you want it to be. They sell rotella and Rotella T6. The T6 is synthetic

You will not find a answer like that.

Louis @ LG Motorsports has a great thread on oil in this section too.

CAM2 here. High zinc formulation, and I run a mixture of 10/30 and 20/50 during the winter. Summer it's 100% 20/50.

Run the regular VR1 20-50 and no issues but thinking of switching to the synthetic.

Turbo cars need a slightly thicker oil due to oil temps. I get Mobil 1 5w 40 for free from where I work so that what I use.
