Default Pics of my TSP/Patriot Race port heads

I got these babies back from TSP this past Friday, along with their new "Torquer" camshaft. I will be firing it up tonight and dynoing on Friday. I am VERY impressed at how much different the heads look now The hand finishing is very nice, no CNC marks anywhere. Completely polished thru the intake and exhaust runners, bowls, and even the combustion chambers. The heads have 2.08/1.60 valves, Patriot "GOLD" dual springs, with Super 7 Locks, and Super 7 Lock Ti Retainers. The heads started life as a set of stage II LS6 styles and went off for a little "cosmetic surgery" If you have the LS6 styles, you might want to call Jason or Trevor and see about having your heads upgraded. The turnaround time was very quick!! Thanks again guys for putting up with all my phone calls!!

They were 225cc intake 83cc exhaust before the polishing, so they are probably just a little larger now. The combustion chambers are 59cc.

Im sure you will see good #s with the heads/compression, plus knowing you Im sure that cam is plenty big. Nice looking heads there, good luck on the new setup. You thinking of getting one of those rumbler exhausts?

Those heads are ringers!
You need to add 500lbs to your car if you're gonna "cheat" like that!
I just wanted to be first to spout of some of the typical Hater rhetoric!
Gomer, looking good, but screw the dyno, how about some tangible numbers.

I was wondering when somebody was going to ask about that

It has less total duration than the 231/237 I ran a while back...and is just slightly larger than the 230/232 that I just pulled out, I'm done with big cams.. hell, these "baby" cams make good power

Sorry.. but dyno numbers is what makes me horny I'm afraid to take my car to the track, I'd hate to break something. I'll keep my racing to the "state funded" tracks close to my house that open after midnight I'm going to dyno it on the spray this time too, I've got a small 50hp wet kit that I have used in the past on a certain supra around here, I'd like to see what it is actually giving me to the wheels.

How much does that 'race' porting cost? I have the Stage III LS6 heads, I'm planning on putting a turbo on my car in the near future and will have to take them off to find a way to lower the compression (hopefully they can open up the combustion chambers).

They look like similar to "hand finished" port I got from Patriot. Mine are smooth on the roof, floor, and bowl area. The sides still show a little bit of the CNC. I'd be curious to know how mine flow against yours for ***** and giggles.
