Default Drill mod question

I have the stainless line in hand. I know that everyone says when doing the "drill mod" use a 1/8" drill bit. Has anyone used a 9/64" bit instead?
Is it imperative to use the 1/8th bit?
I know it sounds like a dumb question,
but I don't have one in my box and the 9/64 bit is the next size up from the 1/8th bit.
Flog me with a wet noodle if you think it's a dumb question, but I had to ask.

Thanks,
Brian

I havent done the drill mod yet. I would like to think that .019 would not make any difference. I guess that it really depends on the I.D. of the hose.

I have done the drill mod. You could use the biggest bit without ruining the line just go slow and do not get any shavings in there. But take it from me and my experience its only a temp solution i had so many issues i did everything from new clutch slave master drill mod and still had pressure issues till i did a Tick master.

Thanks Guys for the good info. I used the 9/64 bit. I replaced the clutch master cyl. and have it installed. Now I just need to bleed it and hope for the best.
