Default Coolant Bypass Lines add SIX horsepower!!!

So according to this dyno sheet I found, the guy is claiming his car gained 6 horsepower and 7 lb/ft of torque through the coolant bypass line. Anyone want to call B.S. on this? Or is it possible?

the bypass does nothing for hp gains. the air travels too fast through the tb to absorb any heat the tb may have

I would like for an engineer to explain to me the thought process of coolant running through the throttle body.

Good little write up, but do all cars have the coolant lines going through the TB?

^^^THIS!

I only did it so that there was 2 less breaks in that line to leak.

Also, I've seen 10 rwhp variance between two dyno pulls, 20 minutes apart, with the SAME EXACT SETUP/TUNE/ETC.!!!!!

Do a dyno before and after, with your mods you may see a 10WHP INCREASE!

I've done this on every F-Body I've had and I can feel a difference in throttle response afterwards.....

Just kidding!! lol I have done it on all of them and it really just ends up being a thing of convenience that when ever I'm taking the intake stuff apart I don't have to deal with taking the lines loose.
