Pricing help on LS1
I'm very green to this whole thing and looking at building a car for myself I have a motor lined up for tomorrow it is:
LS1 freshly rebuilt but has been sitting
Auto trans
Ecu
All for $1200
I feel like this is a really good deal just need a second opinion

Re-built by who?? A trusted shop or a backyard mechanic? Any paperwork (receipts) or warranty or has it been sitting for too long?? Why is it sitting and not used??
These are just the starting questions. BE VERY CAREFUL you don't buy someone else's mistake. 'You get what you pay for' 9 times out of 10. This sounds way too cheap which sends up the red flags.
I know what I just stated above really sounds negative but there are enough 'nightmares' to go around for those that *** u me things. If you get one answer where the seller says, "I don't know", walk away.
