Default WhiteLTone update

Well with our many off-season upgrades, we had the car out this past Sunday on a very well prepped Byron Dragway. First hit was a motor hit off the trailer, car went 1.57 60' / 6.89 @103.48 / 10.67 @ 129.74
29* timing, shifting at 6500, launch at 3200..
This is 3mph higher then it ever has been on HP, and we never even loaded the N/A tune into the MSD..

First nitrous hit was as expected, slightly temperamental.. Car went the first 20-30' without the nitrous, then it decided to come on, spun the tires, peddled, realed it back in and coasted to a 10.02@111

We tried to go back up, but the second starter in as many days took a ****..

Good news, Nick said the car pulled like a freight train, we gained 3mph on HP without even trying, and the car drove as straight as a string with all our changes..

New Powermaster XS starter is in the car, and ready for testing..
We are going to head back out ASAP and make 5-6 HP runs and get the new combo as dialed in as possible before we spray it again. We feel we can net 132+ N/A, and then really pour the coals to it on spray.

For those curious, this combo is as basic as it gets.. Hydraulic roller cam, ls7 lifters, stock crank, Compstar rods with Diamond pistons(11.8:1), 2" Kooks headers, th400, super vic with a single 850 Quick Fuel carb. Moser 12 bolt, Alston torque arm. There is nothing fancy or exotic on this car, it just flat works.

Thanks Brandon!
Might be talking to you soon about a 102mm plate kit for my cousins 408 with the Holley Hi-Ram.

Lol no doubt. That's pretty good for NA passes since I'm sure you have a tight converter for the gas. Imagine what it would run if you had a loosely all motor converter in it.

Thanks Guys, Sorry ive been lazy on the updates, working the graveyard shift at work, and wrenching during the day. The cars running strong. Excited to see what she's got. Thanks Steve at LRE, and Eric at MWC. If it ever stops raining im headed to the track to shake the bugs out of it and light the candles.

Got the car out today. Ran best ever of 9.07 @150 on 225 shot. Ran 2 other 9.0 passes. Up'd the jets to 300. Went 9.03@149. Blowing thru the converter pretty bad. Overall my motor converter has done well but im gonna pull it and swap in a real nitrous converter.
