Intake Manifold???
I just purchased my 2002 SS Camaro and the car is amazing. It is a two owner car, both former military, so the car only has 44k original miles. The car has a detailed log with numerous upgrades which include heads, cam, headers, exhaust, etc. However, when looking through the very detailed notes of all the upgrades, I don't see a aftermarket intake manifold, throttle body, etc. The car was dynoed at 475HP at the crank and 450 torque naturally aspirated, The only problem I see is that airflow is somewhat restricted. The cam is a 224/224 cam and the heads are MTI 5.3L 2E Heads, GMMG exhaust, ported LS6 Oil Pump, Pacesetter long tube headers, TSP Y-Pipe, ASP Crank Pulley, Chromolly Pushrods, SLP Rockers, Titanium retainers, Manley springs, 4.10 gears, and a few other upgrades. The intake manifold looks to be stock, any suggestions on a good intake manifold to open it up a bit? I don't want to do much to if frankly, compression is 10:8:1, so I can't imagine putting any forced induction on the car. Any ideas?

Stock 01/02 fbodies came with ls6 intakes. So you have a well flowing intake already but if you want a better flowing one look at the fast 102. It'll go we'll with your heads/cam setup

If it's a LS6 intake then it's pretty decent to begin with. You could have the throttle body ported and polished and do a ram air system to free up some ponies for cheap. Or just save up and do a FAST 92 or 102 intake

If I were you I would for sure get a FAST 102mm with matching throttle body. The LS6 intake flows well for bolt on cars. But if your car has that much done to it I would get the FAST 102 as I'm sure you would feel a noticeable difference. Spend the money and get the good stuff my friend.

Yes go with the fast 102 intake and Nick Williams 92mm throttle body. Personally I think the nick William tb is better. Get you a set of fast fuel rails fast 39lb/hr injectors and ractronics fuel pump and retuned you will be impressed

If your car is a week end street car I would just leave it alone. Thats def a good setup. A fast intake would prob be another 10-15 hp and with the small cam / heads id be on the fast 92 side > the 102 this time.
