how do you adjust proportioning valve that came in sjm abs delete kit
Ok is there a good way to adjust the proportioning valve without locking my wheels up in a parking lot and seeing which wheels lock first and I end up flat spotting my tires? Please help!!!

Unfortunately there are too many variables to just give a range of "turn in" on the ****. Brakes, tires, suspension, weight distribution all play a part and no two cars will be the same. Can you find a dirt or sandy road? Maybe play in the rain in an empty parking lot? Which ever way you decide to do it be aware of your surroundings.

i have this kit and i brake hard on stock rotors & no issue.
how it works is "i suppose" .. more brake to the fullest will make it brake front's only
you want to turn it 3 full turns from a full more brake to less brake ... i'm not sure about the amount of turns but you there's a way you could help yourself which is measure it and keep it in the middle then you get 50front 50rear. it's pretty simple.

its an awesome kit but do expect service vehicle abs and brake lights to be on. I ended up replacing all my brake lines and ordering their stainless steel braided lines to replace the old rubber lines. The brakes have never felt better I just need to do a fine tune and adjust my brake bias

i didn't replace my brake lines i only installed the kit and took off the lights from the cluster.
the kit is awesome, i really enjoy it i brake hard to make the car swerve on purpose to freak the hell out of people.
oh and 99camaro5.7 be sure to not give alot of more brake this will cause the car to swerve harder due to the front's getting too much .. a 60/40 (front/rear) or (70/30) or (best(50/50)) .. 60/40 is great .. 70/30 you'll need to have a light foot else you'll have alot of swerving !

yea thats what I'm trying to figure out now is how much i need to adjust it. I found in the instructions that a panic stop won't tell you anything good. So apparently you need to to some heavy stops but be aware if the front end is dipping alot or if the rear feels like or is locking up.
