Default no movement in any gears after transmission installed

I return my car back to stock, and only replace the stall converter in the transmission. I install a Rev max 3000 stall. put some fuild before putting the converter in.

After install the transmission back and setup everything back into the car. it start up fine and well. and when I try to back up out of the driveway. I have to hit the gas a bit to move backwards.

when I got onto the street and hitting it in D. I hit the gas a little.

Heard a loud click and then hit the gas and no movement in 1,2, 3 D or R

Did you carefully check the clearance between the converter pads and flexplate to ensure there was clearance? Trying to confirm that the converter was fully engaged into the trans pump.

I agree, could be a transmission pump issue. Pull a cooler line and pop it in a bucket. Start it up for a few seconds and see if you have any flow. No flow means you broke the pump rotor.

It can be tricky to engage the converter correctly.
In should be measured to be sure. With a straightedge over the bell housing , the converter pads must be at least 1" down, ideally 1-1/8".
IMHO, the talk about counting clicks is false security and you might not even hear the clicks.

It might be the pump rotor cause the first time the engine was locked up due to the converter and I'm also getting no reading on my trans temp gauge

Chris

I took the trans cooler line to the trans cooler and a little came out, and then when I started the car, nothing really came out. so im guessing my front transmission pump is broken. where can I find a new pump or what will I search for something like that? thanks

The pump rotor is internal to the transmission which now needs to be removed and rebuilt. Often a broken rotor will damage the pump housing (halves) and can spread metal shavings throughout the trans, converter and cooler. Sorry for the bad news.
