Default help me decide (you love polls)

ive got it narrowed down to three possible vehicles once I sell my current vehicle. basically I want to know your guys' input and what you would do and why. If I sell I will get around 20-25k since I already paid the car off.

first option, fourth gen Camaro to build to either make a boost monster (procharger) or a N/A beast. its light, can be had for several thousand, plenty of leeway to play, and still has a back seat for child.

second, 06/07 cts-v. its a caddy, comfy, quiet, still has ls2 which can be built to make fast but with less leeway with the cash on hand.

third, g8 gxp. its a 6.2, manual, nice and newest, can make fast later but not now...

im torn. I like the idea of a 4 door "sleeper" and something newer but a beast of a car that is a little older and less seen on the roads as the years pass by is just so tempting. please guys, help me decide. thank you!

You don't explain your intentions for the car either tho, ...
Will it be your daily driver?
Do you have some family member to haul around?
Will it be a SOLO II car, or a drag race car?
Too many questions to just throw up an opinion reply, ...

Dont bother with G8's, some owners here have had nothing but problems with them.

I have personally crossed that car off my list of future cars...

Deff ctsv out of those choices, or the g8. 4th gens interiors are rediculously cheap.

Aren't the rearends garbage in the CTS-Vs? Also look at the cost of a upgraded rear end for that car, Its a whole lot of money.

i put well over 500 rwhp through my "garbage" rear end in my cts-v, if you eliminate wheel hop (revshift cradle bushings and gforce axles should be your first mods), then your rear end will definitely hold up for quite some time.

the stock motor mounts are known to sag right from the get go, though.

I'm not really going to get into the pissing contest in this thread, but don't rule out the 04/05 v's. you can save some money and still make some power.

btw, my diff is Gen 1. You can PM me with any immediate questions. (the numbers in my sig are from an old tune before i broke a timing chain)

well the reason i put the camaro up there is for the significant weight savings, the initial cost savings, and the availability.

I vote G8 but I'd get a GT. I'm really starting to like late model GM 6 speed autos. Curious as to what your selling?
