I have a tick adjustable MC that I installed on my 2002 Z28 about 2 years ago. My clutch went out a few months ago and I installed a Monster lvl 2 along with a new slave. I tried bleeding the clutch for several days. This is my 3rd clutch install in my car and I have never had a problem bleeding the traditional way. After a full day with no results I bought a mity-vac. I was getting nothing but bubbles and losing pressure so quick that I couldn't keep it at 12 mm Hg. So after all of this I pulled my master out.

I noticed fluid leaking between the blue AN fitting and the MC. I tried to tighten it and it broke clean off before I could even get it snug. So I am trying to find out the specs on that blue AN fitting so I can get another one. Does anyone know what exactly I need? I have tried to get an answer from Tick but they seem pretty busy as I have not received a call or email back in a week. Thanks for any help.

were you able to get the fitting out?

had the same issue on a car that came through our shop and had to replace the master because npt fitting wouldnt come out short of drilling and retapping the master

fitting should be a npt-an adapter, i have the size and part number for the master at work

its a tilton 7/8" master,and i believe a -4AN line... check with your local speed shop.

I finally got an answer from Tick when I called. The guy that answered told me it was a -3 to -4 AN fitting. I ordered one but have yet to receive it. I have not attempted to remove the broken piece from the MC yet. I'm hoping it comes out. Does this not sound right?

master cylinder part number 75-875U and a -3 AN male to -4 AN male adapter (something like Russell #661750)

Tally- looks like I am having the same problem y'all had. Broke one extractor bit trying to get it out and no luck with any attempt. What the hell is keeping that thing so tight in there?!?

So my question now is......do I take it to a machine shop and see if they can drill and retap the master? Or buy a new one? Another $350 for something that only has 2 years and about 10,000 miles seems ridiculous.

hahahahaha!! Holy **** nice google link! I didn't realize you could buy the tilton master separate. Looking back now I don't know what the hell my problem was.....that replacement master was mentioned several times!

yeah man not the whole master assembly just the tilton its built on. they did a great job on the master assembly but those aluminum fittings are fragile and soft so when they break, it sucks
