Default Install complete welded exhaust in driveway?

Is it possible to install a completely welded up exhaust (catback) in the driveway with the car up and rear end dropped low?

Do i have to completely remove the rear end to get it to slide over the differential?

Ive always used a lift, its going to be my first time with out a lift thought I would ask if anyone has done it like this before attempting.

wondering this myself, i sent my exhaust out to be put on, just welds in a few spots and on the tips, mostly use the clamps provided and I look at it and its all welded up, I mean thats nice and all but I dont see any way of getting it off if i had to.

You will have to drop the rear end to get it in. I had to put mine on a lift just to get my SLP LM2 on, and that was only the back portion of it. Stupid tiny jack lol. On another note, catless with LT's sounds amazing.

I would cut it forward of the section where it goes over the axle. You could probably then snake the rear muffler section over the axle, and temporarily clamp them together. Then get it to an exhaust shop and have a flange welded on. It would probably be easier that way, no need to remove the rear. You would be able to unbolt it at the flange later if needed.

What I would try is jacking the car up high, disconnecting everything except the control arms and lower the diff to the ground (wheels off). Should be enough space to get the muffler through. If not unbolt the control arms and move the diff out of the way.

You dont have to remove it from under the car completely, just enough to slide the muffler over if the car is high enough.

Default exhaust

Go online and see where Borla has their exhaust cut to fit on the car. I have a Borla system and it is made to be installed in sections.Check out hanger locations and use quality clamps.
