Wrist pin retainers
Anyone know where i could get some replacement wrist pin retainer locks for factory pistons with the .943 pins? GM, part number? Aftermarket brand? Been searching, can't find anything.

well that will be the right GM number then cause that was the yr the engine diagram show was a 2004 5.7 and it gave that GM part number for retainer. you can get it from gmcheapparts.com for $2.49 I think its what it said..

Just curious. Are you not wanting to re-use the ones that came out?
I'm working on an 06 5.3 and removed the pistons from the rods so I could clean it all up. I was just going to re-use.
That Summit part number is for a Ross Spirolock and I think those require a square groove.
Wild price variations on the GM parts.......
