Default Oil pump options ?

I am doing cam swap on ls1 gto I am putting in a torquer v2 cam what oil pump should I use? Ls6 ported ?

The HI Volume still comes with a high pressure spring. I just double checked and my 408 has the high pressure melling, 10295 is the part number.

I went with a Melling 10296 and switched the spring to the blue spring. No issues at all

+1, high volume stock pressure is the way to go.

That is what is how they recommended I do it in my 408 but my cam only one was the other way around. I figured Tsp knew a lot more than me.

I used a TSP ported pump in mine over a year ago, no problems. I run royal purple and in the Az. summer heat it holds 55-60PSI on the freeway. Idle, is around 32-35psi.
