Do you know if the TR6060 will swap into a second gen camaro? I'm not worried about the transmission itself, but the shifter and it's position. Can a standard style shifter be put in the original's place? And does the trans have the capabilitiy of accepting the old mechanical speedo cable?

I'd love to drop this into my 1978 Z28 with a Procharger or Whipple supercharer ontop.

I could be wrong but I believe there is a swap you can do with a gen4 f-body shift rail, tail housing, shifter, and magnum t56 main shaft that turns this tr6060 into an f-body t56/magnum t56 clone with slip yoke and proper shifter placement for a camaro like yours
