Default Testing at track with Cam. 1.41 60'

Finally got time to get to the track and do some testing and Trans tuning at the track since the car won't hook at all in first on the street.

Car is blipping the limiter on the 1-2 shift and killing timing but besides that im happy with the direction of the car.

Hoping to get back again soon and make some full passes.

Car is leaving damn good! 1.41 60' with 2.56 gears is hilarious.. Other then the 1-2 shift/limiter , it looked like a good pass.. Did it go in the 10s? Did the mph come around where it should be with the cam change?

It was only 1/8th mile that night that's why i went out to just get the car lined out. 6.83 in the 1/8th and 99+ mph. I know there is still some improvement left. Hoping it has some 6.7's at 100+ in it.I knoiw it should start moving on the top end pretty good with the cam so i need to get some 1/4 mile passes in.

Funny thing is i pulled my 10.55 timeslip my old G8 that always seemed to really start pulling after the 1/8th and that car was 6.84 in the 1/8th

6.83 comes out to a 10.72 using a 1.57 back half correction.

But real world, when my 71' runs 6.80s@100-101mph, that is usually 10.70@125 mph.. I went a 6.74@102 and it was a 10.59@127.52. That was a 1.51 60'.

Your car is definitely gonna back half better then my 3700lb tank but...extra mph doesn't always show up in the ET..depends on how your converter is on the back half as well..

I think your car will run 10.70@126 in the same conditions you had the other night... Not to mention you lost .05 from the rev limiter 1-2 shift.. Get that fixed and get some good winter air and you'll go 10.50s at 128..

Nasty *** ride for a cam only deal... That's for sure! Keep at it!

Yea im hoping to get it back once some cooler weather rolls in again.
I think i have the 1-2 set down far enough on the tune i wrote after the track but i'll see.

I'm figuring the car should trap 125-126 like you said. I was down to 121 before the cam with the 3800 stall

Foot braking to around 2,000 and letting it flash the rest of the way.
