Default opinions on return setup

Due to my alternator location I have to run cross over in rear is there any issues with either diagram below I made in paint lol. Haven't stared doing anything yet other then buying pieces. Any help would be great. Car is 99 ta with l33 5.3 turbo cam ls6 intake 799s 76mm Precesion 7675 turbo 400 Ford 9inch running E85 with 2 fic 340s. Hoping to make around 750-800.
Using stock feed as return new -8an as feed.

There is essentially no difference in your 2 choices, both will work the same. Just use -8 for the feed into both.
They will work, but the design is not ideal.

Personally I would bet I could come up with something to allow a return from both rails.
Some tight -6 90's will likely fit on the rail outlet. You only need about 1.5".

I have only have maybe 1/2" from stock rails to back of alternator. Ill be running aftermarket rails. I didn't know if it mattered which side fed rails. If plug side mattered.

Also I'm trying to avoid using 90s if at all possible.

Here is the rail with injectors in it and how much room there isn't lol. So guess my question now is the above diagram with that side plugged is that better then just running the stock rails?

just take that plastic cover off the alternator, clearance it, and reinstall. I've had to do that before. A tight 90 will then fit.

You may have to use a 90 whether you want to or not.
