when he says it is "tuned for nitrous", did he give you a rundown on what was done to the car to support it?

Just make sure that car is good for spray with the supporting fuel system and give it a shot

I would not ever spray a car I bought someone else set up and expect it to be done and tuned right. I would chase everything down, make sure it works, check the tune, spark plugs etc. Most importantly I would educate yourself if you do not know much about nitrous.

what exactly is wrong with a bottle " sitting straight up " like that?

i cant tell which is the front of the car, so the position of pick up tube is the only thing that could i see wrong

the hose is suppose to be pointing down cause the end of the pickup tube is at the bottom of the bottle in the corner and the bottle should be laying down on the brackets. I dont know the exact angle but its is totally wrong standing up.

think about it....you nail it! and all the NO goes to the back of the tank.

So all those pro mods running nitrous that are running straight up bottles are wrong? There is more than one way to skin a cat. Hell motorcycles run them upside down.

Bottle position is fine. You would have to be down to about 2 pounds before there was even the slightest chance of the pu tube missing the juice. And that won't happen w/o a push system.

One of my old (early 90's) NOS bottles was a bit fussy about how it was mounted. At first it was mounted sideways and was hit or miss. Finally mounted is front to back in the car and my demons went away.

I also seem to remember some bottles having the pickup tube removed and the bottle mounted upside down.
