Default looking to put an LSX in a '55 chevy....

I have a '55 Chevy I want to put an LSX motor in. Any tips on what to expect? What problems will I run into. Who has the best/simplest wiring and conversion kits for this install? I've never fooled with an LS motor before so big learning curve. Car is for racing only so going heavy horsepower. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Get the transdapt motor mount adapter plates and it will drop motor in the exact same spot as a SBC...easy breezy, and if you have the $ painless is the way to go on the wiring

Hey LS Bravada I see you have an '87 Grand National. I have one too. Have you done any modifications? I'm trying to decide which direction I want to go with mine. Want to keep it streetable but would definitely like to make it a force to be reckoned with on the street.

It's mostly stock. Cold air intake, walbro and bigger injectors. Try turbobuick.com

Hello, we did an 5.3 LM7 in our 55 2dr post and it turned out great! Look thru our build and it will show how we did it. It's not hard.
