Default Fuel pressure with key off/Racetronix/FAST 102

I just got done with my 402 build. I have a Racetronix pump that I just installed, I crimped the hose from the pump to the sending unit per the instructions. I also have a FAST 102, with FAST fuel rails and gauge. When i first primed the system it would hold pressure after the fuel pump shuts off, about 45-50 psi. 60 psi with the pump running. Now after running and driving the car the pressure drops very slowly after the car is shut off. The car still hold 60 PSI running.

I do not smell gas, nor do I see any leaks. I am going to check my crossover pipe in the back to make sure it is still tight.

Just wondering if anyone that has a gauge can verify if this is normal or not.

You can see the gauge in this video.

That priming/running pressure is normal.

The pressure may drop over time.... you do not state how long it takes to drop to zero after turning the engine off. How long does it take?

About a minute to bleed down.

I have the same combo and problem. My pressure falls instantly after turning ignition off. It doesn't seem to cause any problems other than startup. I just let it prime for 5 sec then start it up. I replaced my regulator thinking it was leaking, but its the same. My pump must leak back in the tank when key is off.

By the way engine looks great. Which valve covers, wires and brackets are those?

Look up Proform LS valve covers, and relocation brackets, summit, jegs and Cheverolet Performance has them. The wires are MSD longer truck wires. Proform tells you on their website the part number for the wires.

Thanks for the info on the pump, mine seems to not drain all the fuel into the tank. I think its just not holding any pressure with the key off.

1 minute bleed down is nothing to worry about, unless you have troubles starting.

I did find a leak on my fuel rails, I tore an O ring on 1 injector. Fixed that and it bleeds down a little slower now.

I found it by blowing compressed air into that rails and the gauge would bleed down so I knew the leak was on the rails. Blew air into the fuel line and it was holding. Had my wife listen to the tank to see if she could hear anything, there was nothing. So, did have a leak on my rails.
