This belongs in the 'What's it Worth' section in the Classifieds but in the meantime we will need more details. We don't even know if the T/A is an auto or manual. Title OK? What does the car need? (tires, etc...) That's a lot of miles and your description of it being in excellent condition would be a real rarity. Step back, take a look again, and provide details. You want honest pricing info, not vague 'pie in the sky' numbers. Otherwise someone will say $9,000, and someone will say $6,000. That doesn't help you at all.

My bad I didn't see the ''what's it worth section''. The car is a manual and has a clear title. The car is straight no dents or clear coat pealing off. Interior is clean as well. Driver seat has little wear concidering the miles IMHO. It's also a 1 owner car.

He's asking $6,500 for it. The car has not been listed F/S either. It's a friend of a friend deal.

Hope this info helps a little...

$6,500 could be an OK deal. Knowing the car's history is a real plus in this situation. The one-owner aspect even better. Make sure the tranny and clutch are in good working order. That's a lot of mileage on both components. If he is asking $6,500, try to get the seller down even a little more. It would help pay for tags, tax, title, etc... Have cash in hand when looking at the car. Negotiate on anything you see wrong. It never hurts to try, just be polite. Good luck!!

My buddy and i went and checked out the car and drove it. The exterior is in really great condition. The interior is ok. The headliner and sunvisors need re-covered,the seats had just a few tears but other wise pretty nice

The cel,abs and traction control light are all on. The car had headers and the egr is missing. He said that's why the engine lights were on.

it drove really good. Has new shocks and struts.

ABS/traction has nothing to do with headers or EGR.

Well, so much for that 'excellent condition description' Typical. Sorry so much is wrong with the car. Lord knows what the SES light could be about, along with all the other problems. Whoever described that car to you initally, give him a good
