Default so first time at the trackk

Really hot day and really humid. Best time I ran was 13.2. Maybe more seat time and better weather ill get below 13. Modes are lts corsa and 8.8

Not bad but your trap speed seems alittle low for the mods.

To hot. It was like 88 degress outside. Heat soak was just killing it

That's an impressive 60' for your first time being at the track. As compared to almost every other V1 owner on here, who have hours upon hours of seat time and still can't break 2 seconds. I can't speak for myself though, as I don't have a V. YET

Yeah but im sure that the 8.8 is a solid axle swap. I bet with some slicks it would be alot lower than that.

no 8.8 is independent rear. with some slicks and cold weather and more seat time should be lower.

Thanks for sharing. And yes with some beetter air you'd be in the 12s no problem I think. That 60' time is respectable especially for a first time at the track.

You need to do a IAT relocate.

Here's your parts list:

And an interesting article:

Nice run!
I would have thought with the 8.8 you'd cut a better 60' but more seat time I'm sure you'll cut a good 60' and run a 12. Car sounds good!

Makes you wonder why GM elected to design it the way they did.

Thx fuzzy I will probably do that mod. Im sure with more seat time and cooler air I can a 1.8 60" also the 8.8 wasnt a upgrade it was a forced fix because my stock diff blew. So good news I made 12 passes and diff and axles hold. Bad news I think I busted either a motor mount or trans mount have a hard clunk on shifts. Cs motor mounts will check it out next week. As far as the air goes. It can get 3 tenths of a second. Every one I talked to was running about half second slower than last season.

???

Good runs dude, was that an SRT4 you beat there? It's a little dark for my eyes to see in the video. Those things are pretty good on a drag strip.

If his engine thought the ambient air temperature was 150°F, there's no telling how much he lost.

It looked like a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. They go pretty good with some mods and have AWD.
