I've googled, searched, looked on shbox. Is there a nice reference thread here somewhere on what can be ripped out from under the dash? I'm doing the HVAC removal and while I'm in there want to throw out as much junk as I can.

So this is the first thing, what is it (airbag computer because it's yellow?) and can I just unplug it and throw it away without wrecking anything?

What do those tags say, usually yellow means an airbag connection.

That's your airbag DERM module. The airbag system won't work without it and you'll have an airbag light on the dash.

Ok what about the silver box on the drivers side under the fuses? is that the ABS stuff and can I just unplug and throw it out too?

The ABS box is toward the firewall high up by the fuses. Same thing. Light on dash no abs.

I pulled all that stuff a few months back...all I left was the vats/tdr, blinker relay, and brake light switch. Lost around 20lb's. Pulling all the wires can be a pita.
