Default 2000 Camaro SS

I have a very clean 2000 Camaro SS. Bright rally red, 64,000 miles, M6. It has some mods done to it. Im trying to decide if I want to take it back to stock or leave as is. I swapped the heads and cam. Here is a list of all the mods that have been done.

TrickFlow As Cast 220cc Cylinder Heads- 3.90 Bore 61cc
Fully Assembled Including .650 Lift Springs
Hardened Pushrods
228/230 .588/.592 112 LSA Camshaft
Comp Trunion Kit
ARP Head Bolts
Powerbond 25% Underdrive Pulley with Gates Belts/GM Bolt- F Body
Comp Drop In Hi Performance Lifters
Katech C5R Timing Chain
Melling Hi Volume Oil Pump for LS Engines
SVO 42# Fuel Injectors
Poly Motor Mounts
LS6 Intake manifold
Real LCA
Sub frame connectors
Kooks 1 7/8 headers
Kooks true dual exhaust

I also have a monster stage 2 clutch sitting on my floor as well as a tick master. Prob missing a few mods but those are the big ones. Basically im trying to get the most out of it obviously. I am willing to do some work if taking it back to stock would be better. Let me know what your guys think.

Wow! That SS really 'pops' in the photo. Nice detailing!
Yeah, it's been mentioned quite a few times before over the years. You will probably do better selling a 'stock' example on it's own merits, and then you can sell your 'mods' separately to make even more $$. I know it is time consuming, and maybe costs even more money to do that, but the car will appeal to a wider spectrum of car buyers, not just young males looking for a modded car, plus this group usually doesn't have the money to pay top $$. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. What's the market like for used parts? Also how much do you think the monster stage two complete clutch package with tick adjustable master, speed bleeder and arp bolts is worth. It's brand new in original packaging.

Someone else will need to chime in about parts prices. I don't know personally. If no one answers here, maybe try another section or check the classifieds to see if anything similar is selling, and for what prices.

So does $12,000 for the car with all the mods sound fair?

Unfortunately no. This 'attached' post is similar to your situation. It's not an SS but it is 2 years newer. I don't think the results would be much different, but you can always try, right? https://ls1tech.com/forums/what-wort...an-02-z28.html

Hmmm ok well it seems like the only way to make any money would be to return to stock and sell parts separately. Can you tell me what parts would be best to leave and which ones to pull? Also the car is paid for and I have no need to sell so time is not an issue. Honestly I just don't drive it anymore. I'm thinking pull the cam, heads, kooks exhaust, injectors. Leave the headers, oil pump, ls6 intake???

You are really not going to get extra money with any mods on the car and since you are in no hurry to sell it, I say return it to 100% stock if you have those parts. Put it back up for sale in the spring and you won't have a problem getting decent money for that nice looking, lower mileage SS.
