Default 383 on twins

im going from a single to twins on my 383 and am looking for some input, i have done the searching but every one seem to be 370 and under or 402 and up, no middle men with the single it made 700 and change on pump gas, with the twins id like to be able knock on the 1k mark with some meth maybe a bit more with some race fuel. id like quick spooling and able to flow up into the 20-25psi range at 65-7k (track abuse) run 12-15 on the street the car 80% a street car

Some Precision Billet CEA 6766s can get the job done

What transmission are you gonna use?

precision 6266 here on my 383 build. should be good to 1200+ wheel or so. you'll only need 67's if your planning on 1500 at the tires.

Not in quite a while, im doing chassis work on it right now and its completely gutted. I decided against running my t56 and sold it, i placed an order for a stage5 4l80 from Jake's a couple of weeks ago. the turbos will spool damn near instantly with an auto and you still probably wont any noticeable lag with a stick.

I'm running a 378 cid 6 speed, Turbonetics 6165's, made 950 rwhp at 14 psi open down pipes. Went back with full dual 3" exhaust with mufflers and at 13 psi put down 904 rwhp but was smoking the clutch bad. I suspected the clutch was slipping this confirmed because at 16 psi the motor blew through the clutch like it hit neutral. Got the clutch up graded and haven't got it broke in yet to go back. But no doubt it will do 1000 rwhp. Oh and .68 A/R housings and E85.

is there anyone running the smaller turbine? the 62 vs the 65/6 or billet wheels? im guessing the the 62 should out spool the larger units but im worried it would choke in the top end?

i ask because i can get a pretty good deal on a pair of billet 64/62 .7ar TC

You can still make over 1100 to the tires with 6262's cranked up all the way with relative ease, just choose the right A/R on the hotside and you should be fine.
