I was in 2nd gear all runs. About 4000rpms. 1st dont hook at 50mph.

Each run he shifted a little higher. 2st run was 7200 2nd 7400 3rd 7600.

your shifting was good for coming off two year manual layoff , when i run 2nd i go from 4500-5000 and spin it to 6800, its a big difference in a vette 4000 is a tad too low

Ya im guessing what it was. I think closer to 4500. But yep im taking to about 6800rpm as well. This car is amazing for the little work done. Wish I had a vette long time ago..lol

he is dropping pulles and going E85 on the 5.0. Hes stopping around 900whp..the engine its self made 1079whp in and auto already.

Your shifting was good, but get an MGW shifter and shifter box and don't look back. Best shifter out period. You bought a Vette that runs strong!
