What the hell...
Does anybody just make and sell an intermediate pipe and an over the axle pipe for the LT1 cars? All I can find is Y pipes and compelte cat back systems, which I don't need at all. I have the muffler AI want, i have a y-pipe.... just need the over the axle and mid pipe!
Point me in the correct dierection please!

The right direction is not messing around with trying to mix exhaust parts together. It's far cheaper and easier to just buy a whole catback system. That's what everyone else does.
There's a reason those parts aren't available - it's not a conventional way of building an exhaust.

Nice color on your car pillar. And that would still look nice with a gray interior. I'm looking at the hockey stick stripes to go on mine too but don't they go down lower up front with a choice of letters (LT1 or whatever)?

I did of lot of picture looking before I decided on how I wanted it done. Yes you can have it go lower but I personally didn't like how others went so low. Also my stripe is out line and would not work if I went 1/2 inch lower. You can kinda see it in this pic

if you can weld and have a sawzall you could always buy 2 180 deg mandrel bends and a 4 ft stick of 3" pipe for ~80

Right side pix looks even better. Yah that out line is a nice touch and would not look as good with the full stripe. I see u removed the plastic trim line and i was thinking the same thing - helps against dents but doesn't help the looks.
Watch'a got up front in place of the air dam? Looks like something polished.
How is your hood set up? RAM air or cowl induction? I can't find a hood with good vents so i may have to have custom made vents - rather than cut and weld my self. Sometimes i race and its over 100*F at the track - cool air is every thing as i had a ICM die soon after racing.

I ran into this awhile back on mine, I was a poor high school kid and thought I could piece a catback together. Took me forever but I finally found a 3" intermediate pipe from a 3rd gen I could order separate. Its from IMCO exhaust and it was their performance version. I have to cut the front for length and shape but other then that it worked great.
