Default When turning off a v1 and more questions

What does it mean if your shakes a bit when you turn it off? Just put in a revshift rear diff bushing and seems to shake a bit more after the new bushing... Anybody else??? Has anybody noticed any driving differences after a revshift diff bushing? Besides the obvious (no click and clunk)

Mine has done that since I have owned it. Quick google search revealed it to be a characteristic in my opinion.

The dieseling effect is always either the stock dual-mass flywheel going bad, or the motor mounts going bad.

My car has always done it, even with CS motor mounts, LS7 flywheel, ati damper and new stock, revshift or CS trans mount.

I replaced the stock clutch and flywheel with an LS7 setup and it was reduced but not totally gone. Then I replaced the busted motor mounts with CS poly mounts and it was reduced again, but still not completely gone.

The "dieseling" feeling was due to a combination of bad motor mounts and the dual mass flywheel in mine. Motor mounts fixed 99% of it, the rest was eliminated with a new flywheel.

I took my car into the dealership and asked them to look into this and they said it was the motor mounts. I also get some nasty banging on hard shifts, so I've got that on the short list of things to do.

For now I'm not screwing with the clutch and flywheel...but happen to have a brand new LS7 clutch and flywheel from my parts car that will go in if the motor mounts don't fix it and I have everything else fixed by then.

If you mentioned this at the beginning, we would have all told you motor mounts lol

The banging was a given, but not the rough starts & stops. Seeing that I was taking the car in for an inspection anyways it wasn't necessary to post about it.
