Default Anyone review the Tick Perfrmance level 5 super magnum?

I'm going to be making big power and I'm thinking of sinking my teeth into the tick performance level 5 super magnum trans. Anyone have any reviews? Or is anyone running them now?

Thanks

Not running one but really want one eventually also. I have heard good things about them strength-wise and reliability. Plus better gear ratio options also than the t56 itself. I would like to hear someone post up too

I'm running it. It shifts so much better than than the T56 did it's not even comparable. Missing a shift requires a complete screw up. I got mine with the spray oiler option and I do have it functional. It has seen 950 rwhp so far but the clutch slipped at that point. I have since replaced the clutch but have not turned the boost up past that yet. (Still breaking in the clutch)

I still have mine in the box - no hole made as it required custom work to be done which I didn't want to play with.
Do you have any pictures of how you got it functional & how hard is it to get the hole made (I don't even know how it looks like) !

Clutch Choice ?

Clutch Choice ?
I have the McLeod original street twin upgraded with the Miba lining and extra spring pressure. This is also the clutch I believe the 6 speed ET record holder is using.
I have pics of the pump setup but I will have to upload them, maybe tonight.

The 3rd gear spray bung, used to o8l the gear every now & then. Its mentioned in detail how it helps but there is no kit made to be sold with it.

When I bought mine I selected the option to have them (Tick) install the oiler. I believe you have to have the transmission apart to do this. I only had to install an oil pump outside the transmission and hook up to the already attached AN fittings. Here are a couple pics of the Tilton pump all installed. It doesn't take much. Mine is hooked to a Hobbs switch and turns on at 4 psi.

Well I spoke to Martin from Tick Perf,
The two bungs are installed to flow to the cluster gear & the input shaft. However, they should be positioned correctly.

Anyone got pictures of the sprayer bungs to have a clearer picture ? What size of bungs were used ?

I had a bad feeling not getting it installed while am ordering it.

Yup, my trans blew up because of lack of fluid in the forward end of the trans. When the time comes I'll be getting the Bungs & Sprayers. Just need to make rank!
