Looks like you may have done the same. Which setup did you go with?

I cut and welded the off road connection pipes on as well. Looking back, I bet if you had and exhaust tubing expander then you could expand the connectors slightly to go over the collector and just use the provided clamps.
I thought they fit well, no issues so far.

Michael, I have heard nothing but good about the pacestters. The Haters out there that think you have to spend 1k+ for headers are fooling themselves to justify the expense. You SHOULD have the headers coated internally as well and you don't need to wrap them. Have Fun!

The coated pacesetters (external coated only) with off road connections is almost the same price as the obx SS.
I bought the uncoated and ceramic painted the exterior and interior as well as I could myself and the wrapped them. Your spark plug wire boots will hit the headers, I would at least wrap that area. I wrapped them because of the Magnacharger to get as much heat out of the engine bay as I could. There are pros and cons to each option. I went with pacesetter because I didn't have to cut into the stock exhaust, and the price.

Has anybody had issues with road blast taking away the coating on their headers?
On the front of my kooks the coating is all but gone and they don't look very good. I'm thinking about making a type of "heatshield/protector" to put in front of the headers so that the road blast doesn't completely eat through them.
In the meantime I'm going to spray them with a couple coats of ceramic header paint and possibly wrap them with some leftover DEI titanium wrap I have laying around.

Yeah, def. would be a good time to do MM if you are doing headers.
