Caught racing, but he gave me 81 in a 50 instead. Ok last Friday around the Conn's meet me and 2 other stangs went for a run.
After the run, as you can see I was way up ahead. The two stangs were by each other and in my rear i see lights.
Im all the way up ahead so I figured that id be ok if I just cruise since the other two are right in front of him speeding and running.
Well, he came for me. He said he knew what we were coming over here doing and that we werent all gonna get away.
He said I was racing.. 10 mins later he comes back giving me a ticket for speeding saying hes not gonna put racing so i wont have to go to jail.
Anyway to get out of this? He didnt get me by radar, he was way behind us and I have a radar detector.

I've always loved how people do **** like this and when they get caught they start looking for a loop hole. You were caught, Man up and just pay it. Be thankful he did not haul your *** to Jail...
It would really suck for you if he is a member on here and shows this post and video to the Judge when you try to get out of it...

I agree with everyone. Pay the ticket. Buddy got it worse. We were racing by my house. Cop pulls my buddy over asking who I am. Get speeding improper lane usage and wreckless driving. State sent him a revoked letter in the mail before he even went to court. $2000 and an attorney later he kept his license. Pay the speeder and move on

pay the ticket and go to traffic school so you don't get the points. Or go to court and have the judge look at the notes placed on the ticket and I will be sure you would get your butt chewed out, guilty verdict, all the fines, plus court cost. Be happy the cop still did his job and didn't screw up your life by taking you to jail. Get arrested now and whenever you type your name in google there are several sites that post your mugshot till you pay to remove it.

Yeah I guess ill be thankful and let it go, I dont see how he could pull out the video of us racing and try to use that as defense if he gave a me speeding, but thanks everyone!

^^ This. I have done it and it works. Talk to him and you can plea it down like any other violation. Also, you could probably get it thrown out, but I'd also be willing to bet he'd never let another person off in the future. It could be you that he gets again, just something to think about.

Everyone should go to traffic court and witness the stupidity that goes on there. I seen people go for seatbelt tickets that were given to cut them a break because they were speeding or something else much more expensive. They end up paying a lot more thanks to the judge in the end.
