the guy i bought it from wasnt sure if it had a gear or not i just wasnt sure if it was a 373 possibly i figured the rpms would be a bit lower at 60 mph

4.56s',loved em.
Ran them from the fall of 2007 to the spring of 2012. 1st and 2nd gear were wicked. Still had a top speed of 140. Took 4 trips from Ohio to Florida with them, mpg was 21.5 at freeway legal speeds, the computor handled the mpg well. On a return trip once on I26 from I95 to I77,hooked up with a fast moving group of cars and was in cruise control for an hour at 4000rpm.

That 4.56 rearend is still intact and ready to be put in if I choose. It has a USED richmond 4.56 gearset that I picked up at a swap meet for $25 and an Eaton clutch posi I picked up at Summit in their 'scatch & dent' corner for 300,all it needed was a spider center shaft which I picked up at a swap meet for $5. The used set was a little noisy, but I set it up for wear not quiet. 4.56s' are too much for the 1/4,but good for the 1/8.
Another rear I'm building will have either 3.73s' or 4.10s'. Since I work on our little 10 bolts,I have many gearsets(2.41,2.73,3.08,3.23,3.42,3.73,4.10,4.56) and a variety of carriers and parts.

since you have a 99,which has a torsen posi,4.10s'(and 4.56s') will require a SLP 'split paddle'(no longer available and rare) or modification/grinding of the existing paddle.
