Default Which WG & BOV for billet S480/370ci ?

Getting ready to purchase my wg and bov, one guy recommended turbosmart 50mm wg and 44mm bov, another guy said JGS 60mm wg and 50mm bov, what are the s480 guys using and what works best ?

I think you may have that backwords, he probably said/ment 44mm gate and a 50mm bov. I've personally never heard of a 44mm bov, with that being said I'm planning on running a 60mm gate and a 50mm bov on my s475 setup.

Depends on placement of the wastegate. If you can get good placement then just go with a larger one, if you cannot then two off each header.

Now with JGS, i have heard mixed reviews with their wastegates. I have personally not ran one.

Now I am with an s480 and 6.0 and I have a 66mm gate and 60mm bov. Overkill? Potentially, though my mindset is buy once.

The less back pressure, the harder it is to control so the important part you forgot to mention is which turbine your running. With that said I would just go with the largest wastegate 60-66mm and RPS 50mm BOV for 100 bucks, great reviews on those RPS bov's

Actually if you have good wastegate placement you can run a smaller gate. Its only where the exhaust flow to the gate is long and twisted or has sharp turns that you are better off running a larger gate. Desired boost, displacement, and turbine also play into it. If you only want to run 6psi with the box stock 1.32 S480, a bigger gate is going to help.

Just as said before placement is most important here's a pic with twin 38s holds boost perfect as low as I want. Lowest I ever tried was 7

2 smaller twins will react quicker than a big single also. If you have room 2 gates is almost always better than 1.

Also if you are running it divided, better to run 2 gates. I ran 2 38mm wastegates, one on each bank of cylinders.
