Was wondering what you all would recommend for the rear? and spline? as well as Harness?

Just use an 8.8 out of a GT fox and build it out.
31 spline axles are the way to go if you'll be N/A, get some killer gears for that thing!!!
They sell stand alone harness' for that swap or you have whatever harness on the motor modded to be stand alone which from my understand isn't the hardest thing in the world.
AJE also has rear tubular control arms that would be good to get ahold of.
TeamZ also sells a custom built rear end you can order from them.
I'm going to be in the process of the same build before to long in a notch, good luck!

That would be a good kit to pick up!
You can probably piece it together for a little cheaper might look into that.
As for the driveshaft I would imagine http://www.driveshaftshop.com/ would be a good place to start.

Also N/a is great and all, but boost is the best!
Get a 5.3 and throw a turbo on that thing and you'll make considerably more power than n/a on an LS1 for about the same cost! (personal opinion)
Or just spray the **** out of a 5.3 and you'll make a lot more power!

just an FYI an LQ4 would be a iron block 6.0, the 5.3 is most likely an lm7. There should be a stamp on the back of the block with 4.8/5.3 or 6.0.
