Default 5.3 s10 time predictions and races

got my little truck running pretty good for a 5.3. first race is tomorrow night against a bbc nova. thinking he runs 7.80s in the 8th and then off to the track on the 19th to get some time slips.

videos will be taken

id like to get some educated guesses on what the ol truck will run compared to what others have run.

little info on truck

1991 single cab short wheel base

5.3 iron block
.20 over
mahle forged pistons
stock crank and rods with arp bolts
tsp v2 cam and supporting valve train
compression is 9.8 to 1 or so
heads are the step down from the 241s cant remember number
I had 2.02 1.60 valves installed milled .15
manley race flow valves intakes all back cut
heads are extensively ported both intake and exhaust
85mm intake ported with matching tb
1 3/4 maybe 7/8 cant remember brp long tubes with 3in exhaust to 2 40 series flows.
cold air
4500 stall th350 manual valve body
welded rear end caltracs trick flow cover
full interior

I have a guy out of Nashville tuning her.

wideband is still on the rich side at wot and rich taking off hope to have it lined out by the 19th.

whats she gonna run???? ill also be using atleast 150 shot on the 19th. I wont have it for the bbc hope I can still wax his *** for him

He runs 7.80s? Should not be a problem with your setup but ditch the flowlikecrapmasters today. They are choking that motor without a doubt. Run something straight through like a Magnaflow or Hooker maxflow.

iv heard bad things about flowmasters. ill look into getting some better mufflers. I was gonna make a pass with them at track and then take them off and get another pass. they say burn outs don't lie ill get a good video of a burn out and post it before I race the bbc nova tonight.

What do you have for tires? s10s are light in the rear and need all the help they can get. I think that will be the deciding factor...if you can hook you can win.
