Mine bolted to the left rear carb bolt and one of the intake bolts when I had the Vic Jr on mine. For the life of me, a cant remember who makes the bracket ?! If it comes to me I will let you know. I would send you mine , but I modified it to work on my GMPP dual plane. Have you looked on Edelbrocks website for a recommendation? They should know what it takes.

Why isn't the one you have working? It seems the only big difference would be how tall the intake is, and spacers should fit the bill for that.

The back two intake bolts and intake are completely different...one bolt is very tall and the other is short onto the head...the runner of the intake is huge compared to the other where the bracket wraps around...this sucks, Jegs had nothing i can find

Man, I feel for ya. Im pretty fair at fabricating stuff out of parts I have laying around. I just don't have any idea what you are dealing with because I have never looked at the cathedral head bracket. All Ive ever had was LS3 carb intakes to deal with. All the cat head stuff Ive worked with had a plastic intake . No way you can grind the wrap around bracket to fit the bigger intake?

Maybe Doug G or 3 pedals will chime in soon. They are both running LS3 Vic Jrs. maybe they have a solution or a part #.

Lokar makes one that hooks to a single carb stud. I can't imagine how the intake could interfere with this, guess I would need to see what you are dealing with.

Hey I'm pretty good at fabbin up parts also, the eddy bracket now i had to fab a little bit to work right...the mounting on the ls3 vic jr, one bolt (back intake bolt) is sitting right on head...the bolt before that one is about 3" up the runner..so there is 4" bolt and a 2" bolt that's holding the rear of intake down if you all can picture that...i asked 3pedals already and he said he's using a mechanical linkage..

The cathedral intake doesn't come with a throttle bracket like the cathedral castings?

Picture it, I had it! I just used one intake hole and the left rear carb stud. On the GMPP dual, I had to use spacers to fill in the gap for the hole where the intake bolt stepped up AND change that attachment point to one of the EFI bungs the intake has on it. I had to drill and tap the intake because the EFI bungs are blanks. It works really well and is solid as a rock.

I must be missing something, I've never seen a throttle bracket that got anywhere near an intake manifold bolt. Here's my Lokar setup with 200R4 trans, 750HP and Victor, JR.

I made mine out of a 3/16" sheet of aluminum. Use a carb base gasket as a template and leave some material on the throttle cable side to bolt your throttle and trans cable to. You can pick up one of the cheap mr. Gasket type brackets and just use the L shaped brackets and bolt them through the fabricated piece. Works great and is cheap to build. You can polish it up and looks good.

Thanks for the memory bump, Doug. This is what I am using, BUT with my 2004R trans, the bracket has to be very solid so the TV adjustment doesn't get off. I fabbed up a support that bolts to a spot on the intake. On the Vic, it was mounted to an intake bolt. On the GMPP dual, it mounts to an injector boss that I had to drill and tap. Mine has the upper and lower square holes for the throttle and TV cables, but other than that, is like Dougs, but with the home made support.

That's what makes building a car so fun to me. Beat, bang, cut, tweak, shim, recycle, file, drill, and paint to match ! One of a kind, built with your own twist on what it should look like . Pride in production ! For me , there is nothing like knowing how tight every bolt on the car is, because I tightened it ! Hot Rod ingenuity !
