04 GTO Blower Doesn't work on HIGH Only setting
So I have seen many threads about this were the blower when you use it doesnt work except on high.
Mine is the opposite. It works on 1, 2 , 3 , 4 BUT does not work on HIGH.
When it's on HIGH it just turns off completly. IT doesn't matter if its on heat, or AC, still shutsoff on high.
What is causing this? All fuses are good. It's been like this forawhile as I have not used the air until a few weeks ago.

Mine turned out to be the high speed fan relay under the hood. Check the three relays related to the fan to make sure they are good. Mine had dark marks on the case sides. If you replace them, I highly recommend the OEM units from the dealer. I tried several different knock off brands and all of them failed. The OEM units are about 18 bucks each, but they last.
BTW. They are a different pin configuration from a traditional Bosch relay. Don't plug a normal 4 or 5 pin unit into the socket.

For mine the fan doesn't work on 1-3 but the AC does(you can feel the cool air lightly). But when I go to HI the fan turns on BUT the AC turns off (even the AC light shuts off).
I checked the Heated Rear window fuse. I switched the rear window and the blower relays(same type) to test them and still had the issue. Think that was a good enough test?
Thoughts? Blower motor resistor?
