S400SX-80 ET-R HO Billet or S400-HP88 on 5.3? The time has come for me to start on my single turbo/truck manifold setup!
I'm torn between the S400SX-80 ET-R HO Billet and the S400-HP88 from Forced Inductions.
Anyone running either one on a 5.3?
Car is a 99 z28 (LOUDMOUTHLS1's old roller) that should have a raceweight around 3200lbs . Planning on running a custom cam and a holley high ram. Mostly track car with a th400/brake and 3.50 gears on 275/60 DR's.
Is the HP88 too big for the 5.3? id like to be able to run the same turbo if I decided to build a 6.0l. But dont want to compromise TOO much if the 88 isn't going to work very well on the 5.3.

and spool WAY WAY faster.

Thanks man! I'm exited to finally make some progress with it. I'll be making a build thread on the rebirth of The Panda Express!
I doubt that the lsunches with the turbo setup are going to be as violent as they were when Devon had it on the spray! But I'm going to try my best to get it into the 8's!!!

what turbine wheel with the billet 80mm on my l33 5.3L?
I have a standard 75/83 bw now. I have a glide and a brake but i want to leave like i am now or at least low 1.3's
