Default New plan, 8.50 or bust!

The car ran very well with the SBE 6.0 and spray but it's was basically a 1/8th mile only car so since the motor is hurt its time to go a new direction. Then plan is to build a 370 with my prc stage 3 243s around. 10-10.5 to 1 compression, custom grind cam, pro systems carb and a forced inductions s480 et-r billet wheel turbo with a air to water setup. Plan is to drive to to the track run 8s and drive it home. Should weight 3000-3100 race weight when finished. You guys think 8.50s is out of it is too much to ask?

Stock bottom end 5.3 with bearings, filings gapped and rod bolts went 5.09 in the 1/8th, qualified and placed in X275! Lol

My sbe 6.0/S480 has gone 9.57 @ 147 so far in my 3500lb Camaro, with a crapy 60ft. There is lots left in it. My goal is 8's as well, and I am confident the combo can ultimately go close to 8.50. I trailer to the track. You never know what will break with a stick shift!, but this is still a street car.

New air compressor is on the way! S480 from Midwest turbos with a ultra cover and billet wheel, should do the trick.
