Meth going into motor while cranking "doesn't sound good" So apparently we forgot to install check valve when transferring the meth kit from my camaro to the Malibu. We filled up the meth tank then tried to start the car and it would turn over bit not turn on. Tried to give it some throttle and it started knocking "either rod or valve?" after cranking it for a few times we noticed it was leaking meth from the exhaust and the tank was about 5-6oz low after we just filled it to the top.
Pulled the plugs and they were wet with meth and fuel it seemed. Pulled the injector nozzles and let the motor sit for a while to let meth dry out and tried it again, started up quick but now it's studdering at idle and knocking pretty loud!
You think it's still knocking because there's still meth in the motor or did we **** some **** up?

I hear that if its hydrod it will not crank at all.. it will run its jack making a knock!
The meth tank is mounted in the engine bay same height as the nozzles. Didnt have a check valve tho.

Bent rod(s). This noise you're hearing is the bottom of the piston hitting the crank. Ask me how I know.
It looked like just one was bent, I mean, it was incredibly obvious. But there was one other rod that was bent. It didn't look bent, but when I rotated the the crank and saw that the #3 wasn't coming out of the bore, I knew we had a problem. So I grabbed two pistons/rods that weighed the same from the last motor I grenaded, swapped the rings and bearings, slammed em home, and went 9.96 @ 139. 6 dished cross tops and two non cross topped dished pistons doing work.
