I guess I should have worded that differently. I meant he'll hook you up with the best regular price on a Strange. He's not going to give you the GP price after the GP is over because that is like giving a rear away

So you have two choices you can buy from him at regular price (plus he has online ordering discounts, although I would call and see if thats the best price he can get) Or wait for another GP, he actually runs them quite a bit.

I'm not on Tbyrne's jock or anything he is just one of many good vendors but his Strange prices are pretty good. A moser from TTP is another option. I've heard the housings are stonger but then it seems to be a crapshoot on how well the rear is set up........

I don't get that. If he made $ on the GP from the first 3 guys, why would't he be able to repeat the deal again? Did he give away the first 3?

You have to make a certain amount of profit on an item to make it worth it after everything is said and done. My family business is after market auto (mostly 4x4 crap its in AK) but in order for a vendor (not just Tbyrne) to give you the price you want on that strange he has to make next to nothing on it. Even if he made 150 off of it 150 off of a 2000 item is nothing unless you sell 50 of em. Even though he makes 150 he still has to pay the bills so he is really only making 30-40 bucks on it MAYBE. So yes he is GIVING them away.

I'm going to shut up now, I not trying to defend Tbyrne in ANY WAY, I'm just trying to show how INCREDIBLE alot of these deals are that the vendors provide and we are pretty spoiled that we start thinking we "deserve them" I'm always out for the best deal too. But the reality is if you need one NOW your going to pay more for it and it you wait you'll get a better deal.

LS1 speed sells Strange too but its the same price. Which might mean that Strange will not let him advertise it lower but you might want to give him a call they are an excellent shop as well.

93TAWicked1 did a very good job of explaining that. Most of the time vendors don't make much $ for group purchase products. The way pricing is now we don't make to much on some of the regular priced products either You can save $100. if you order the Strange 12 bolt on our website so that will help save you some money.

I started this thread and i just wish i seen it sooner about the gp .My self and BlackHawk are ready to go on another GP for the strange .I my self got cought up in the Ls1 feaver for parts. The sick obseshion for speed got the best of me.
