Hi everyone, sorry for my awful english i have silvia ls 15 about 5 years, thirst setup sr20det, eaton 90 + HKS 3240, a lot of custom works

then i decided to try something more reliable and more powerful, so il swaped Mitsubishi evo 4g63 (custom stroker BC 2.5) with r154 toyota transmission

but it have to late spul up, and i decided to swap ls engine

so i bought ls2 from cadilac cts-v 2006
and t56 transmission

so we strip the car

and i monday will put engine to the car

about month ago it looks much more better

car looks good, with all the swap kits available dont know if I would have done what you did to fit that motor in, but i'm sure its worth all that extra work pushing that motor that far back. And I wish I could chop up an S15 and not feel bad about it.

im thinking of this swap a lot of time and push motor far back was main idea, so i dont afraid tons of works with this setup, its really interested for my how it will handling. And in 2015 season i planed to get twin turbo setup, and this arrangement of the engine will be the best for plan
i dont feel bad, because i love this car and im sure that its going better

The only reasn I would feel bad is because in the states they are very rare and a lot of work to get them road legal here, but I've been thinking about getting one and just registering it as a S14 and use the vin off my parted out 240, so i can drive it on the road

Yeeeeeeah....insurance fraud is never fun..... really, the only difference is what side of the car you're on. It's going to handle about the same. I want one too, but is it worth the headache? Or the "Hey, we're seizing and crushing your car" visit?

Make a badass 14.5 and have the best of both worlds

I have an S14.5 with an LS1 in it, but would like an actual untouched S15 as a daily, and what insurance fraud, I'd get less money for a 97 s14 than an s15, and law enforcement isnt going to care about the difference about an s14 and s15, and the only cars that get crushed in Louisisna are junk, would not even try to do this in California, I wouldn't drive my S14.5 in California, I see you're from Maryland they're crushing cars there too for street racing or just because they want to as well

It's cracking down all over the country, and there's not much to be done to stop it. Even if you behave, feds don't care what state you're in. Simply going to take it since it won't have legal importation paperwork. Remember state titled doesn't mean it's federally legal.

Fraud comes when they pay out and it's not what you listed as the vehicle, opening it up to a whole new ball of wax. (Live with an insurance appraiser, happens fairly often sadly). Then it comes out you lied to the DMV's, the insurance, and whatever accident started it is now something you're sued for because you lied and insurance dumps you.

It's not worth the headache for the +5 cool points. Not hating, I'd love one too lol. Had a couple times where someone offered to trade one for mine. Just not worth it. My 14.5 is plenty for me
