Default Big nitrous guys 300 hit question

Have anyone tested the 1 7/8 headers with that much nitrous and have anyone seen any gains going to a 2 inch setup both setups with bullets coming off the collectors just wanna see if it's worth selling a brand new set of kooks to go bigger kooks lol

We did the swap with Shiz's car (he got the very 1st set of 2" from kooks) and it picked up 2mph on a 400 shot.

Lmao. Apples to oranges OP with his setup.OP if you have a killer race engine or seriously going max effort 2 inch would be they way.

His motor then was a 408 with afr225 heads.
Hardly a killer.race engine.

You cant get the exhaust out fast enough with nitrous.
It isnt a n/a motor.

Our "race" motor picked up alot going from 2" to 2 3/8" with 4.5" collector.
Bigger is better when talking exhaust on a motor with nitrous on it.
Hell I'd bet you cant fit a big enough.header on a ls motor that you could slow it down.

JMO.

They made a ton of 396 bb's also......a good running 408 with a 300 shot will make more power than alot of BB that run 2 1/4" headers.

And we would have used 2.5" if we could have made them fit.

I agree. I put a stock ls2 in my racecar for a weekend a couple years back with 2in headers, single plane and 300 shot and it loved being able to breathe. Every car we have went to 2in headers on has went faster, haven't had a single one slow down.

I got 1 3/4 primaries on my 396 BB.

I did run a 4.85 back in 2011 with 2" headers. I picked up a few mph when I went from 1 7/8 to the 2".

and you would be hitting 300 on a SBE, with a SLP catback, lid and 3.73 gear daily driver? haha just thought that was funny, thats all
