I'll be doing a auto to manual conversion going behind a 5.3 L turbo. I understand both of these clutches probably won't be able to handle much power. But it's what I can afford to get on the road. I know there are much better clutches out there and I should probably save up to get those however it is what it is. Please feel free to weigh in on these two choices I have.

They are about equivalent when it comes to capacity. I am not sure what your budget for the clutch is, but I am looking at some on ws6store right now and they have some decent deals going. $233 for a spec steel flywheel and $386 for the spec stage 2 clutch to go with it and it will handle 690 ft lb. The Monster level 2 and 3 are on sale for $555 for the level 2 and $605 for the level 3, and they include the flywheel in the kit. Depending on your estimated power level, any of these 3 clutches would be far better for handling the turbo engine, and are not too far apart on price from an LS7 package. Just some options to think about. I have a Monster level 3 and love it.

Our clutches are on sale currently and not sure how soon the turbo is going on, but you could run a Level 1 for the time being and then upgrade the disc to a Level 3 when you need it. Feel free to give me a call, Chris 817-750-2000

^^ Good idea. Keep the same flywheel and pressure plate and just change disc. Cheap to get up and running and to upgrade. Loving the level 3 Steve.

Whatever you do, just stay away from a self-adjusting pressure plate (ie: anything OE).

I know when I upgraded mine the difference was about $100 between a LS7 and TDP stage 2 while both were on sale.

Unless it's the new LT1 clutch from the 2014 C7 Corvette, it is improved over older designs

Have these been bolted up to a t56 yet? Interested to hear some results on that one.

Decided to go with a monster level 3 due to power level I'll be at.

Now have a Centerforce and lS7 for sale. Both new.
