Default LQ4 Miata HELP!!!

Im trying to start my Chiata and it will start for a few seconds and die, when you crank it over again you can hear it fire on a few cylinders but wont start again. If you let it sit for awhile it will do the same thing. Ive replaced cam and crank position sensors, called tsp who tuned my car and VATS is turned off. It will run on starting fluid and it is getting fuel. Anyone have any other things you think it could be? thanks!!

Sounds exactly like VATS, might want to double check that it was removed, as sometimes people think it has been removed, but didn't "take". If that checks out, my guess is clogged injectors, very common problem these days with the crappy fuel we have now.

Scan for VATS codes. Usually when it has ait still enabled it will throw a code. Definitely sounds like VATS.

I called tsp again and varified everything looked good with the tune and VATS is turned off. Im getting spark but its about a second and a half in between each time it fires. Its getting fuel for sure, 60psi at the rail, tested all the injectors and injector pulse, when i replaced crank position sensor i had to take off the header and there was fuel on the exaust port. So it seems to me its getting too much fuel or not enough spark, what would cause this? I checked all the grounds and they're all good. Thanks

Your IAC may be stuck open. try blocking off the IAC vent in the front of the throttle body either with a small strip of duct tape or something to see if that helps.

or you have a couple injectors stopped up...
