Bolt On Z28 vs Legacy GT (Dig)
Had some fun dig racing on Christmas night, skreet outlawz style, 1/8th mile with a flashlight marker at the end.
Subie has an '11 STi shortblock, '11 STi turbo, FMIC, 3" turboback and Stage 2 Cobb basemap. Sparks under car = Exhaust slipped out of downpipe, zero ***** given, fixed it good enough to drive home when we were done.
Girlfriend's car is girlfriend's car. Lid, LS6 intake, LTs, O/R Y, LM2, 4.10s. Need to junk the stage 2 Monster I put in from my T/A, all my confidence is gone with it, I don't shift as fast as I used to
Anyway, I'll have a full vid up soon, we got about 30 runs in all together.

Good run! It looks like he kept his lead and got you at the end. Were you catching him or was he holding his lead?
BTW, are you on street tire with those 4.10s? I am sure that it must be tough to keep the tires from breaking lose from a dig. Did you spin?

Hell yeah I spun! First and most of second. I was gaining him in third but his jump was too much to run down in the 1/8th.
Car is on street tires, nice and cheap Federal 595s on the shitbag snowflake wheels. That seriously has to change some time soon....

As for 1/8 mile racing, those races are won or lost in the first 60'. There is just not enough distance to make up for a bad launch.
Good video..Keep 'em coming.

Ha, that's nothing dude! I think out of everyone I kept wheel spin to a minimum and had the most consistent launches. Everyone was running a true, every day street tire, closest thing to a DR was some 20" Invos... lol
