T56 rebuild
I have a 95 TA with a Borg Warner t56, car has about 500rwhp, my 3rd pops out and 4th sticks. I'm pretty sure it's gunna be the shift fork. I was concidering getting it professionally rebuilt because IV never done a tranny rebuild. Tick performance seem to be the best place to ship it. Really just looking for some personal reviews and oppinions on their tick rebuild. I was going for stage 2 r 3 .
i think im just Tryna build my confidence in them before I ship my tranny across the United States haha. I just havnt been to impressed with anyone locally.
Thanks guys. All comments will be greatly appreciated.

just because no one has replied positively or negatively regarding tick doesn't mean it is bad. It may just be that not a whole lot of members, if anyone, has actually taken their transmission rebuilt by tick. the traffic on this website is fairly slow.

I've had my T56 has been gone through by both Tick and RPM. Originally by Tick and 5-6K miles after the build I had some slider keys break and caused the trans to stick in 4th. I can't blame the problem with Tick as I really don't know why they broke with all street miles except for 3 passes at the 1/8th mile. I had planned to send the trans back to them but at the time they had quite a long lead time and it was middle of summer and I had a car outing planned in just weeks.
I called RPM and told them my situation and after talking with them I decided to ship it to them for repair. They were real good guys and got he trans back in time while keeping me up to date on progress and were priced right. They went through the trans and told me what they felt needed replaced, and so far the trans took a whole summers worth of thrashing. I'm not saying Tick doesn't build a good trans but just want to point out that you have a few options. If you have a local shop that is capable of the rebuild I would go that route as it would save the cost and hassle of shipping.
