prolly that idler pulley that sits next to the water pump. might feel fine when spinning it by hand but could have flat spots in the bearing itself.

Dumb question but is the belt routing correct. When i got my V the guy says it eats belts. Come to find out he routed the belt like on a firebird LS1 and it would rub on a Mounting bolt on above said idler.

Long shot but check your ac belt too.

I had a nasty squeal that wouldn't go away. Replacing tensioner didn't fix it.

Looked closer and noticed the ac belt had been thrown off and was rubbing the balancer. Then I noticed the serpentine riding the edge of the balancer, so I shut it off and pulled it off. It was split. I then found the crank bolt to be loose, balancer had walked about 1/8 inch.

I'd heard this squealing for 3 days but just powered through it. Glad I didn't throw the balancer lol

Coolant can also make a brand new belt squeak. :

Power steering pump can be loud when it's cold too. Check your fluid level. Topping it off can help.

Mine has a similar squeak, does it when its damp or cold out. Goes away after 10 minutes of driving or like you say warming up. Not sure what it is...I never hear it during the summer. Someone on the forum here recorded the exact problem and posted the video within the past year. Not sure if it got resolved.

Found it

Thread with no resolution.

Well I replaced the tensioner pulley And came back.. just slapped a new idler pulley on.. the old idler was a little pitted and the grease was black and nasty. I put in the refrigerator let it get down to cool temp and spun it slowly and it was a little bumpy / rough and I mean a little so I'll see if that did it I'll know tonight cause its gonna be cold and moist

if its squeaking with just the ac belt then its the ac idler..or condenser..but idler would be my first guess.

My brothers was doing the same two weeks ago. Turned out it was the harmonic balancer, put a brand new serpentine belt and it stopped for two days. We finally got the harmonic balancer changed and its been a week and everything seems fine now.
