Default ac bypass pulley

ive been searching but cant find a part number or place to get a compressor delete pulley for my 02 trans am... does anyone have any info on this so I can get one ordered and tear this compressor out? ty

not sure what you mean....
it runs off the back of the main crank pulley on a smaller belt...its not part of the main serpentine belt pathway...its completely separate.

undo belt, remove AC compressor, remove lines...end of story.
nothing else needed

remove main belt. remove a/c belt. reinstall main serp belt. a/c bypass complete.

oh ok, its not like a third gen where you need a new pulley to replace the compressor?

perhaps you should actually look at your engine and see the differences before you start trying to do mods....
3rd gen and 4th gen are very different engines.

I also put caps on the exposed nipples the a/c box in case it is reused again. the oldman...

look pal, I may be new to a ls engine, but I didn't know if you could just pull the belt and not have an issue... maybe that will cause the rest of the driven items to spin a little faster, and cause an overcharging issue? idk, I didn't go to school to be a mechanic... I learn from experience and from HELP from folks on the forums, so im sorry if I asked a dumb question.. there was probably a time when you didn't know something as well... and yes oldman, I did read that capping off the nipples on the black ac box was a good idea, ty.
