Default Shop to weld axle tube in Houston

Looking for a shop to reweld my axle tubes on my strange 12-bolt. Bought the rear used and was told strange did all the work. The welds are crapy around the housing and it's seeping fluid from both sides. I need a shop to repair or just run a new bead over the existing if acceptable?

I'm on the west side of town. Thanks!

I can do it in my garage, but you will have to bring the housing out here.

Pile bros said they would retube it for $600 a tube. They seemed real busy and were dead set on that needing to be don't with the theory of the tubes spinning. They seemed real busy so I didn't argue the fact with them. The tubes have not spun, it's just bad welding from the builder. They put one shitty little 1/4" weld that is not all the way fused to the cast housing in a few spots. If the tube spin even 1/8" the entire weld would have busted.

I spoke to them and he gave me a way better deal to just weld them. He also said I could drive it to him and he could weld another wider bead on it while I wait on it. Hopefully it all works out and it doesn't need to be retubbed.

This sounds like the best deal, especially if it is to you.

I was just trying to help out a brother.

For Gear setups, Pyle Brothers is one of the best in the Nation; just pricey!

I appreciate your offer, free is always great but if I can avoid taking it back out that would be awsome. I'm a new dad and I work out of town so I'm trying to spend as much time with my daughter and less on the old money pit lol.

I'll let u guys know how it goes. Thanks!
